Appeal after Sauchie stabbing

Police are appealing for information after a 63-year-old man was stabbed in Sauchie.

The incident happened at around 7:05pm last night, on a footpath on Holton Crescent.

The man was taken to hospital with serious injuries.

Officers believe it was a targeted attack.

Detective Constable Jenna Alexander said: “We are following a positive line of enquiry and want to reassure the local community that we are using all resources available to find the person responsible for this attack. There will be an increased police presence in the area and anyone with concerns can approach these officers.

"I’d urge anyone who recognises the description or saw what happened, to come forward. Anyone with private CCTV, doorbell or dash-cam footage in the area is asked to review this for anything which may assist our investigation."
