Closure on key Falkirk route

A key Falkirk route is closing overnight for roadworks for the next six weeks.

Engineers are carrying out resurfacing work at Cadgers Brae roundabout.

The roundabout, and all approach and exit roads, will shut from 8pm to 6am every night until 9th November.

Diversions will be in place.

Environmental weight restrictions on Beancross Road and Bo’ness Road will be temporarily lifted, while the overnight work is carried out.

Paul Kettrick, Head of Investment, Assets and Climate, said:

We appreciate these works will cause some disruption and thank drivers for their patience while the resurfacing is carried out. By carrying out the majority of the work overnight, we are minimising disruption during the day, but we recognise there may still be some delays to journeys.
