A Falkirk Council report says they are against plans to change the area's Scottish Parliament constituencies.
Boundaries Scotland are updating the 73 constituency seats in the Scottish Parliament.
The local area would be covered by Falkirk North, Linlithgow & Falkirk South, and Cumbernauld & Kilsyth.
A report says the Falkirk Council area being split across three constituencies could lead to "voter confusion".
They've called the move "regrettable".
There are "minimal" changes across Stirling and Clackmannanshire.
The report is urging Falkirk Council to submit proposals to Boundaries Scotland to keep the initial plans in place.
