A report says Falkirk Council is in a "precarious" financial position.
The local authority is already expected to make £5 million worth of savings this year.
They're facing a budget gap of more than £60 million by 2028.
A report, which will be discussed by Falkirk Council's Executive next week, says they remain in an "exceptionally challenging" position.
It also says failure to address the problem will lead to "unplanned" disruption.
