It's hoped a number of major concerts could be held in Stirling over the next 15 years.
Plans to expand Stirling's City Park have been discussed by the Stirling and Clackmannanshire City Region Deal Joint Committee.
The proposals include £750,000 worth of improvements to the site, which is based in the shadow of Stirling Castle.
It's hoped the work will allow for major events, concerts and festivals with up to 30,000 fans.
The aim is for at least seven large scale concerts - and an additional half a million visitors.
Stirling City Park hosted major events last year as part of the Summer Sessions series.
Tom Jones, Busted and Shania Twain were among the acts who performed at the venue.
