New figures have revealed the amount of money spent setting up 20mph zones in Falkirk.
Data from a Freedom of Information request by Central FM News shows more than £105,000 was spent in the year to September.
Falkirk Council has been rolling out the zones, in a bid to improve safety across the area.
Pilot programmes are underway in Airth, Avonbridge and Shieldhill.
Data from Falkirk Council shows average speeds have dropped since the changes were made.
No money was spent between September 2023 and August 2024.
The Freedom of Information request by Central FM News, which was answered by Falkirk Council, says:
