Stirling Council has made more than £500,000 in parking fines in the last twelve months.
That's according to new data from a Freedom of Information request by Central FM News.
The data shows the local authority made £508,090 from parking fines from 1st September 2024 to 31st August 2025.
That's an increase of just over £12,000 from the previous twelve month period.
The local council increased parking charges across the area earlier this year.
Stirling Council is also handing out fines for pavement parking.
The changes were introduced across Stirling in July 2024.
It includes penalties for parking on pavements or dropped kerbs.
The fine is £100, reduced to £50 if paid within 14 days.
Meanwhile, the cost of a residential parking permit has increased by more than 17% since 2020.
